Coroners rule hanging death of Disneyland hotel guest to be a suicide

Kerri Moynihan (1984 - 2017), R.I.P.
It took almost a month, but the Orange County Coroner's Office in Santa Ana finally released the official autopsy report on the 32-year-old female hotel guest who was found hanging dead at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa (A.K.A. "The Hotel California") at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.

They are officially calling the death of public interest a suicide, given there is little compelling evidence to suggest foul play from anyone else who came in contact with the deceased, Kerri Moynihan of Venice Beach, California; however, a motive for the apparent suicide was also not indicated by the O.C. Sheriff's Office.

Comparing the autopsy report to our own reporting from that day, it appears that our story reported virtually all the details that happened on that day very accurately and in great detail which Disney officials did not want getting out to the public.

The time of death was estimated to be around 2:00 a.m., on April 27, 2017, by the coroner, and the body was confirmed to be found by Disneyland "Grand" security officer Fred Creamer at 9:30 a.m. on April 27, 2017, after he was dispatched by radio to Grand hotel room 4214 for a guest welfare check from Disneyland Central Communication.

Our sources tell us that one other "Grand" security officer was at the scene, and was soon followed by "Grand" security lead, Kim Rumbaugh, and security manager, Sue Glowacki, before Anaheim Police and Disneyland nurses arrived at the scene.

It appears that the victim had been dead for several hours before her body was discovered as evidenced by clear signs of rigor mortis by the police officers at the scene.

It is curious to note, however, that neither the Anaheim Police Department nor O.C. Sheriff's Office have yet to publish reports of this "unexpected" death to the public.

We will look into the unpublished police reports to look for more information on this tragedy.
